How we work

Hands-on structural bodywork, gentle craniosacral therapy, infant work, and laser treatment — used on their own or together.

Rolfing® Structural Integration at Fitzy Health and Wellness
The core of the practice

Rolfing® Structural Integration

Rolfing is structural bodywork. Rather than easing a tight muscle and sending you home, it works the fascia — the connective tissue wrapping everything — to change how your body is organised against gravity. People come in for a specific pain and leave standing differently.

  • Improves posture and how you carry yourself
  • Relieves chronic pain and long-held tension
  • Restores range of motion that has quietly disappeared
  • Delivered as single sessions or the classic Ten Series

The Ten Series

The Ten Series is a systematic way of working the fascia to re-align the body with gravity, broken into ten sessions that build on each other.

Some people get what they need in fewer sessions. It depends on your goals.

Craniosacral Therapy at Fitzy Health and Wellness
Gentle and precise

Craniosacral Therapy

A light-touch approach working with the tissues around the head, spine and sacrum. Far gentler than Rolfing and often the right starting point when someone is in acute pain, recovering, or simply not ready for deep work.

  • Very light contact — suitable when deep work is not
  • Often used alongside Rolfing rather than instead of it
  • Trained through the Upledger Institute and the Gillespie Approach
Infant Bodywork at Fitzy Health and Wellness
Babies and new parents

Infant Bodywork

Gentle craniosacral and fascial work for infants — commonly sought after a tongue or lip tie release, or where feeding, latching and tension are a struggle. Jared has trained specifically in infant craniosacral therapy.

  • Infant craniosacral studied with Carol Gray
  • Gillespie Approach Craniosacral Fascial Therapy, Foundation and Infant
  • Frequently used following a frenectomy
Erchonia Laser Therapy at Fitzy Health and Wellness
Non-invasive and drug-free

Erchonia Laser Therapy

Low-level laser therapy using Erchonia devices, offered alongside hands-on work. Three devices covering pain and recovery, inflammation and skin, and range of motion.

  • Dual Red Laser (XLR8) — pain relief and recovery
  • Red and Violet Laser (EVRL) — inflammation and skin
  • GVL — the first FDA-cleared green wavelength laser

What a session looks like

Slow, specific, hands-on work — and a conversation throughout about what you are feeling. You stay clothed in Rolfing attire, and nothing happens that you have not agreed to.

Laser therapy

The three Erchonia devices

Low-level laser therapy is non-invasive and drug-free. Each device is cleared for particular uses, listed exactly as cleared.

Dual Red Laser (XLR8)

Relieve pain and improve recovery

Delivers targeted low-level laser therapy (LLLT), promoting natural healing processes at the cellular level. Helps reduce inflammation, improve circulation, and accelerate recovery.

  • Temporary relief of minor chronic neck and shoulder pain
  • Supports recovery after liposuction procedures (thighs, hips, stomach)
  • Reduces post-surgical pain following breast augmentation
  • Adjunctive treatment for post-operative pain management

Red and Violet Laser (EVRL)

Reduce inflammation and support skin health

Combines red and violet wavelengths. Red light (635nm) supports pain relief by reducing inflammation, promoting circulation and accelerating musculoskeletal healing. Violet light (405nm) offers antibacterial and antimicrobial benefits.

  • Supports musculoskeletal pain relief and healing
  • Antibacterial and antimicrobial benefits for the skin
  • Used for moderate inflammatory Acne Vulgaris

GVL Laser

Green and violet wavelengths

The first and only FDA-cleared green wavelength laser. The green wavelength impacts Complex 3 in the Electron Transport Chain, a step in ATP production and cellular energy generation, combined with the violet wavelength’s antimicrobial properties.

  • Temporary relief of minor chronic neck and shoulder pain
  • Increased range of motion (ROM) and decreased pain in a single session
  • Supports musculoskeletal recovery and cellular regeneration
  • Effective treatment for moderate inflammatory Acne Vulgaris
  • Antibacterial and antimicrobial properties for improved skin health

Laser therapy is offered as an adjunct to hands-on care. Individual results vary, and nothing here is a diagnosis or a substitute for advice from your healthcare provider. If you have a medical condition, please discuss it with us and with your provider before starting.
